the article I read was about how wars are not as clear cut as thyey once were and how "decisive" victories could easily be a thing of the past. the feelings in this article come after the U.S anouncees that it will withraw all troops from afganistan within the next few years and allow the afghani government to police itself but after all these years of fighting can a difinitive conclusion over the victor of this war be easily decided, the answer for me is no not easily although i believe the U.S has in fact for the most part "won" the war I would not consider it a decisive victory. i also think that it will be far into the future before any war has a definitive victor.
