I am responding to the question of is my book fair. i am still reading the Lord of the Rings by J.R. Tolkien and i feel like the book really isn't fair to the main characters.
In the book the main character is a hobbit who have little to do with the world outside the shire but he is still tasked with saving the world his people have nothing to do with. the rest of the non-hobbit main characters are also tasked with saving the world although it is their world they have been fighting for many years and are tired.
Not only that but no matter how long the heroes fight they never seem to gain the upper hand over the enemy. for instance even after defeating an army of 10,000 the enemy only got stronger while they only got weaker.
That is why i feel that my book is not fair to the heroes in it. I think this was purposely done to show one of the messages of the book itself and that is no matter how bad it seems you can still come out on top.
awsome
