sandy

I  recently read an article about the kindness shown during hurricane sandy it was called "super heroes of  the super-storm  by Kelly Heyboer. the article explained that although there were many cases of looting there were also people who helped either in a big way like saving someones life or a smaller way by letting someone take shelter in their home. one example for instance is Mike Pfeifle who after hearing his neighbor screaming rushed to his aid and helped him until the firefighters arrived. The article really tried to show that people are capable of a lot of good.
one man Dean Bach and his friends drove 12 hours from Michigan to New Jersey to deliver food and water. he did because he said it was something that needed to be done. I think its awesome that he would drive twelve hours to help a complete stranger this really shows how a little good intention and a strong will is a recipe for success.
It's instances like these that make me truly believe in the good people can be capable of even in the midst of all the looting.and according to the author these types of thing happen often.
